Would anyone know about the new hyro pedals on a 4400? In the owners manual it shows two places to grease the hydro pedal linkage shaft. My tractor only has one grease fitting, and that is inside the clutch housing. The manual says the other one is under the foot platform on the right side, but the other fitting is not in the spot shown in the manual & the linkage looks a little different and doesn't have a grease fitting. Is this the newer hydro pedal linkage then the manual or is it older then the manual? The dealer told me the tractor was built in May 2001. Is it possible to find the build date?

Sounds familiar...I too could not find those grease fiittings shown in the owners manual. We could use some JD expertise so perhaps John Miller could answer this one....help John Miller if your listening, where are those daggone fittings??

My 4300 is the same way. I believe that the picture in the manual is of the older linkage. My 4300 came new from the factory in April. Hope this helps.

Did you ever see the type of linkage in the picture on a tractor?
