I have a nice used B9200 with a Hydro tranny. Engine runs great and the front and rear hydraulics are fine, bucket and three point lift and run ok. It seems to run fine forward, but it is weak in reverse. In high speed with the front wheels turned a bit it won't back up. Is there 1) an adjustment for this; or 2) hydro fluid and filters need changed and the screens cleaned and the last item 3) Hydro pump shot (sounds like lots of dollars)?

Could it be any of the above, or something else?

If it is truly fine in forward and the problem is only in reverse, check your linkage(worn or loose) could also be the reverse high pressure relief valve is weak. Can you stall the engine with the hydro in forward? But not reverse. Check it in high gear with brakes locked.

I would second what kubmech said and guess that it is the pressure relief valve for reverse.
