The procedure to remove the obstruction by going down her throat was a success.. There was a single gallstone on the bile duct.. Upon its removal, and after the drugs wore off, my wife was feeling so much better.. After keeping her over night for observation and blood tests, she was able to come home today.. She is feeling great and had her first 'real' meal in a week for supper tonite.. She is a little tired from the poor sleeping atmosphere at the hospital, but otherwise she is doing well.

sounds like you found the root cause likely...
theres another heavy duty pain reliever called Propoxyphene that seems to work well for some with codene problems.
Its a large pink pill.
It could be looked up on WebMD - Better Information. Better Health.

wow, I still dream of the 'side effects' from hydrocodone. Them and xanex's. Been clean for about 10 years.

If you think about the medecin today it is pretty incredible. That they went down her thoat to get out a gall stone, it's incrediable isn't it? Kind of reminds me of taking out a sliver. It festers and hurts but as soon as you get it out you feel so much better. Soooo happy to hear she is doing so well, and right before Christmas, terrific.
