I have about 27 hours on my new bx22. When I last used it, it seemed that the FEL was making a higher pitched noice at the end of the day. I examined the connections, and noticed that one of the hydrolic lines was leaking where it was plugged into the the FEL. It seemed like a bad angle to get a wrench to tighten the connection. Is this normal? I checked the fluid levels and noticed the rear level was fine but the front axel seemed a little low. Does the FEL use the fluid from the front axel?

I had the same issue with my BX22. My hoses leaked inside the "metal cage" were the hoses mate into the loader control box (cast iron). It is easy to remove the control box from the loader. They are like 10mm bolts on the sides and the control box should slip right out (with metal cage). So you can tighten up top and then get to the bottom.

Lastly, the front axle is seperate from the hyd system. You will need to add fluid.

One of my hoses leaked on my bx2200 FEL. On mine it was the female end of the connector crack on the mating surface. Dealer replaced it.
