The L245 actually has a hydraulic pump strainer screen. You can order them at Tractor Smart for $10.75.

One guy found his problem with no hyd.

Thanks JJ for the picture, it sparked my memory. We did clean that filter. I remember my dad showing me and talking about it. We washed it off, and got the air compressor and blew air through it. So it was all cleared out.

I am thinking its a bad pump or like you said a suction problem. Where can I find one of those gadgets that measure the PSI

Ok. I will order one of those and see what happens. Ran the tractor for about 4 hours today. Just lifting mulch with the bucket and things didn't improve so it definitely wasn't air bubbles.

Just to update everyone. We tried all the following fixes, but wasn't helping. We finally took an air compressor hose and blew air through the lines to see if that would fix it. Sure enough it did.
Although after running it for a while that day, it started messing up. So we let it rest for 3 days and ran it again and it ran like nothing was wrong.
