I have a Mitsubishi 2050D. The transmission fluid lvl cannot be seen from the fill plug. I want to change the oil, clean the filter and replace with new oil. Where is the fill lvl how full should it be. My operators manual and repair manual both say to fill to the specified lvl. Isnt that funny. what is that lvl.
That is like my computer telling me to contact the system administrator when thats me. I need help.
Guess I better add a few facts. My tractor has a FEL, so now i need to know what type of oil do i use and again what should the oil lvl be. Manual says 3.5 gallons but that is without FEL.

Welcome to TBN. I used the above search link and found an old thread that gives us the answer. There is a plug on the left side of the transmission/rear end case near the clutch that looks like a bolt head with no purpose. Remove this plug when you are refilling. When oil starts to run out, you are done.

Actually, the level plug on your tractor is on the right hand side of the transmission behind and about the level of the foot rest. Drain the transmission and clean your filter. Refill with a quality tractor hydraulic oil such as John Deere type 303. If you have questions about service, email or call us at 1-800-609-5110. Bill -satohparts.com

Thanks for straightening that up Bill. I guess the old thread was wrong unless I read it wrong. I think my fill plugs on my S-470 and the Mitsu 1450 are on the right also.

The level plug on your S470 is on the left side just in front of the bend in the hydraulic line. I have the same tractor. Bill

Now I really feel stupid. I've changed the oil several time in both tractors before I found out there was a fill level plug. That Buck is a tough one. Do you have any Buck parts tractors? I may break down and buy some tin one day. Mine's been rolled three different times. (not by me)
