My 2210 has developed a "growl" when hot idling at around 2000 rpm. it seems to come from the hydrostat and it doesn't seem to do it at higher or lower rpm but mainly when hot. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif is this normal or should I send up an emergency to my dealer while it's still in warranty??

Mine sometimes does this and I find that the FEL joystick is the culprit, sticking slightly off the center detent. Of course, disregard this info if you have no FEL.

This happens when the loader is off and the joystick is locked. I don't remember if I've heard this when the loader was mounted... Next time I'll play with the rear lift and joystick and see....

What you are explaining is normal. Between the engine vibrations and pump noises you will notice some "growling" at certain RPM's.
