Can't really compair the strength of the tranny of a 10 ton vehicle to a 6000# tractor though..
I'm not saying they are not strong. I'm saying that I think it will be a 'time will tell' issue to see if the trannies perform as long , as well, and with as little maintenance, and at the same or less cost, as a gear tranny.
