hello all
i have a 2006 C model Toolcat with 750 hrs that has just been diagnosed with hydrostatic pump failure. the BC service dept in Las Vegas found the telltale brass filings in the filter. does anyone know if this is a common problem in C models i.e. are these pumps defective?
my service rep tried to get BC to pay for the new pump but no dice. the district rep says that BC ended a factory replacement policy for first owners in february. now i have to pay $4k to replace the pump.
if i can document that BC knows there is a problem with these pumps, i will probably take legal action against the factory to force them to replace both pumps for free. does anyone out there know anything about these pumps?
thanks
