I'll agree with the previous poster that you really need to have two tractors.

Yes, NEED two. Three would be better. Or four...:)

That is what I have.
I prefer the larger tractor for tight work.
NOT because of the transmission but because of the steering.
The larger 90 hp gets as slow or almost as slow as the video.
The 33hp has super steer. The axle will turn as well as the tires. But, the problem is when I steer right the front end of the tractor moves left and vise versa. It can be out right dangerous working around people holding things or items that might get knocked over.

If I could afford a fleet of specialized tractors I sure would. I figured two was easier to defend to the misses rather than buying a fleet though!

I believe it is one tractor per attachment, am I correct?

Hello ch1ch2, yes , there is a knack to driving NH supersteer tractors. The trick is to make 1/2 the normal steering input and do it slowly (eg, so as you turn left the front does not jink right and vice versa) especially with a loader.

I always have had geared tractors, old simple ones. I got my new Massey with the shuttle. It's a bit handy but you do find yourself getting a bit befuddled because you have a foot clutch and hand lever. Once you are well used to it it's easy enough but 2 years later I still find myself getting messed up between the lever and the pedal. You can hook that lever and dump the clutch brushing it with your hand or sleeve too. Yea I know it sounds dumb. The other thing I don't like is that I constantly seem to be needing to switch ranges. I find myself constantly between ranges, needing to change ranges often. Not easy on mine and it has a very long wonky lever. You need to be in Neutral to do this and if you are rolling the slightest it will grind too. When you add all that up I wish I had gotten the hydro model after all.

"I don't really understand why some might have issues unlearning a gear ."

I was still reaching for smokes every time I got in the seat, 5 years after quitting... I had no problems going back and forth from a shuttle to an old school tractor.

No need to use the clutch with a hydraulic/power shuttle (which is the comparison we're making here).
