I’m thinking it’s finally time for a change

Years ago (Yup more than a couple) we purchased a new TC40D New Holland Boomer with FEL and backhoe. It’s been a good reliable ride, BUT it has reached an age where it’s very hard to come by parts. 2 seasons back while clearing a section of our land I was backing (think the cops call it “backing without due regard) and a stump caught my right power steering cylinder on the SuperSteer bending the piston wildly. In calling several dealers I was told there were no cylinders available across the US according to an Internet search. If a local guy didn’t rebuild the cylinder to the tune of $500. And months later I would still be walking.
So here I am today considering another ride in the range of 35HP this time but I have been doing research on a cabbed TYM TX39HST. Yeah I know it’s red not blue but this TYM is looking better and better to me each time I watch another YouTube video. I’m up there in years and the thought of AC in the summer and heat in the Ohio winters sounds great.
About a 1-1/2 back I was one of the lucky ones to actually get what I paid for from Everything Attachments before they went down under. I know, I know I had to pay in full upfront and wait 4.5 months while praying the implement would be delivered, and it was. The rake itself is built like a battleship with a total of 3 hydraulic cylinders to make it all work. So with my top link I’m going to require 4 rear remotes once again. Although if not available from TYM I’m not opposed to adding a hydraulic multiplier to get the job done.
So any advice, other than are you crazy or what. Haven’t placed a order and still time to change my mind.

I'm disappointed to hear that New Holland couldn't supply you with what you needed.

I'm on my second year of having a cabbed tractor and my biggest mistake was not doing it sooner. It's really proven to be a game changer. When it's too hot to do anything outside, I can get in the tractor, turn up the AC, and have a very enjoyable couple of hours mowing, or moving dirt. And the best part is that when I'm done, I'm not worn out or drained.

I don't know anything first hand about TYM. I read up on them and they sounded great, but the only one I saw in person was at an auction, and it was pretty beat up for it's age.

I’ve had good luck with the Boomer and had I purchased a cab in the 1st place I wouldn’t sell it now.

So why don't you look more closely at the New Holland now?

I received a quote from the folks I originally purchased from and a cabbed 40 HP Boomer with just a FEL was $49,106. Maybe I’m way off but that sounds crazy high.

In November 2021 I signed the papers for my cabbed 70hp Massey for $55,600. It was delivered in June of 2022 and at that time, I noticed online that people where asking $60,000 for the same tractor with a couple hundred hours on it. Now I see that same tractor for sale in the $70,000 range. I think I paid too much for mine, but looking back, I guess I got it for cheap.

Yeah sounds expensive I got my Kubota m7060 open station last march for a little over $50,000
