Every time I see you American friends posting prices, I hate it more and more that I live in Soviet Canukistan, LOL

Eddy, your Massey 4707 is over a hundred grand here.
I just looked up what $100,000 Canadian is to the US Dollar. It's $73,000!!! That's crazy.

Talking about money when I first went to Italy the
lira 10,000 note was almost as big as a sheet of
typing paper. Sure glad they changed and made
them the approx size of a dollar bill
The 10,000 lira note was $16 U.S.

Heard the LS was a bit more refined as well as being roughly 5k higher in comparison.
Did you "hear" or actually check them out. LS builds some of the NH machines and is usually $5K less than NH.
I went 550 miles to get my LS due to the fact that the local NH dealer was almost $7K higher than the LS dealer for the SAME tractor!

Worth it to really find out......

Hard to know who makes what these days, LS, NH what's the diff? Nobody tells us, or at least there is no listing of camparison I can see and the makers likely want us confused. Oh for the days of a real Massy, JD or Allis. But I do like my Kubota lots!

Yesterday I had a chance to test drive a 40hp cabbed TYM and just wasn’t impressed, it seemed quite a bit smaller and less refined than our current TC40D. I’m sure it’s a capable machine just not my cup of tea. Going to look at LS next and see what they have to offer in the 40 to 45hp range with a cab. Anyone here that owns a LS that might tell me if it can be ordered with 4 rear remotes?

Today I had a chance to drive a 3-cylinder as well as a 4-cylinder LS MT series tractor. I was pleasantly surprised with both although the 4-cylinder was smoother and it seemed quieter. Also thought the fit and finish was as good if not much better than my original New Holland Boomer. Tomorrow I’ll set the sale in motion for a LS MT242HC which is the 42hp version, with 4-rear remotes & 3rd function plumbed to the FEL. Might as well get all the bells and whistles. Before you guys recommended LS I had no idea they even existed so thanks for the tip!

Do they have a MT342? That size machine is closer to your New Holland tractor size. Not sure if money is an issue or you just dont want to go that big, but something to think about.

I was looking at LS last year, talked to the reps at a large farm show.
Then I tried to talk to my "local" dealer, didn't answer my emails, didn't return my calls.
Actually drove over and by them and pulled into the lot. Lots of snowmobiles and ATV's a few tractors and no one that really knew anything about tractors except what he had read in the brochure and then he proceeded to try and tell me what I "needed" for a tractor. That conversation did not go well, I do believe he was glad to see me go.

Dealer matters. My TYM dealer has been fantastic. When I went to look and test drive, the sales manager was at a farm equipment show, but the head mechanic spent an hour with me. He owns several TYMs and was extremely knowledgeable about the tractors. I got my test drives that day. The sales manager and I texted and talked often, always very responsive. The head mechanic delivers my unit and said he would be happy to stop by to do a 50 hour if I wanted, as he has family in my small town. When I wanted filters, it was a call and three days later they were drop shipped to my door. Flashy signs and advertising dollars don't always equal a good customer experience. It's very individual and local. I get the feeling TYM is hungry to make advances here in the US, and being hungry makes you work harder than those who are already well fed.
