I also noticed the "i never lost any sleep" part on the news. Like they wanted him to some how feel guilty for making an excellent rifle

That was some pretty good low cost design, some time back discovery channel did a "heavy metal" type show lots of military gear show. They did a segment on him and had him on there interviewed him and pretty good talk. He had done a LOT not just the AK47 (not sure I remember much of it now) but probably can see it on-line or Netflix...

Might have been I know it was pretty interesting to see what the Russians did vs Americans where they had great engineers with backwoods management just about the opposite of USA lol...
