Thanks for the info Steve. I had this one sitting around anyway. Couldn't give it away. Around here they are a dime a dozen. Most everyone can get by with a compound miter saw. I had plans long ago to set up a cup grinding wheel for hollow grinding rotary mower blades and or bed knives for reel mowers. Ended up buying a semi automatic blade grinder for rotary blades.

Apologies to OP. Jim, here are a couple of pics of my compressor. Atlas Copco LT 7. 5.5 HP. 2 stage 1500 RPM. max working pressure 290PSI. Bought it new for around $2000 in 1978. Can't get a good pic as it is the corner of my parts room. No problems. Couple of pressure regulators and. oil changes.

That is a real nice compressor. i guess the don't make them like that no more( At least not for couple thousand dollars) Do you think that 5.5HP is stronger than today's 10HP?
