I am looking into buying a Bigger Machine

I wish I owned enough land to have your kind of problems. Once I reached a point in life where I could start looking for property, the land prices in my area went up like Apollo.

Ain't it the truth, we sure couldn't buy it now. There was a 105 acres next to us we had wanted to buy for years. When it came up for sale a couple of years ago, it went for $420,000; we passed on that one. Land has even gone up since then. I don't know how in the heck people can afford to buy land or farm anymore.

I think I settled on the L3800. Compared to the L3700, I am getting the new style FEL, newer model, etc.

I found out that the 0% for 60 months is not good on that model and if I want the 0% for 60 months, I would have to pay 3% more on the price. The price I received from Smardt Equipment was $28,015 plus tax. I just happened to call another dealer today that is a little further out from me and he quoted me a price of $26,525 plus tax. Big difference, so even with the 3%, it seems to be a pretty good deal. This is for the L3800, B77 and the LA524.

I will be putting down at least $5000 on the purchase which would mean that I would have to pay $645.75 more to cover the 3%, so I would be looking at a total of $27170.75 plus 6% sales tax delivered. Keep in mind this is an over the phone quoted price, so I may be able to get a little better deal possibly. What does everyone think on the price?
