John Deere 650
Hi! New member but no stranger to tractors. Grew up on a farm, rebuilt my first tractor at thirteen (a 1925 Caterpillar Two Ton), have a JD model BN 1944, a JD model HN 1945, and now the proud owner of a JD 650 compact, which seems to be a collection of JD parts flying in loose formation🙄

Well, it's as bad as my addiction to coffee. My biggest wonder is that I can go to my local JD dealership and still get some parts for my antiques, but when I ask about parts for the 650 they look at me like I have a third eye in the center of my forehead..... I guess JD and Yanmar must have had a very ugly divorce?

Now I understand why you are bleeding. But you are right getting parts for larger 50 series tractors is not an issue - I wonder why it would be for the smaller ones unless sit is as you say.
