I broke my CK20S :(

I was able to straiten out the lines that were bent. There is no hope for the filter housing. I put some orange goop in the crack to highlight it.

So what keep the housing connected, on the one side I just see an o-ring was there a clamp of some kind? Is the housing aluminum, could it be welded? just curious...

It is held together pretty much with pressure from the back line which mounts into the transmission and two small bolts. The housing is aluminum and I did put a temporary fix on it so that I could mow. It is about a 30 min jobs to switch it out. I still ordered a new one to cover myself on future warranty work.

For $70 that is a good idea. Not worth the hassle
