I came, I saw, t\'was green...

Local JD is having a Lawn and garden open house this weekend. I went just cause I like trakturs. He had a 3520 and a 4320. Tough lookin m'chines. Furst twenny series I ever done seen. Very green. Yep.

I also looked at a 3520 yesterday, and liked what I saw. I am thinking that I will try to get a set of forks on its FEL and see if there is any better view of the tips than what I have on my 4300 now. For some reason, even though the hood sloped down, the 3520 didn't seem, at first blush, to have any better view ahead of the tractor. But I'll be checking it out.

I like the 'cock pit' area a lot, and will get used to the one piece hood, if that is the way I go. The seat was pretty plush, and comfortable.

I just bought a 3720. I have the 300cx loader. I traded my 4310 for it. One thing I too quickly noticed is that the sloping hood offers no better visibility than did the one on my 4310 for loader work. It does, in my opinion, look better though.
