Aaron, I've got a feeling I've got Japanese water which came directly from the rice fields in this one. I noticed there is no rubber boot around the gear shift lever, I wouldn't be surprised if that's how the water entered the tranny. Oh well, I've got the tranny oil changed, along with the engine oil and filter, but still need to locate the hyd. oil strainer, which my dealer said he would LOOK FOR and take care of under the warranty. I want to drain the system again soon, just to be sure it's really cleaned out.
This is one heck of a forum, lots of good people willing to help out.

Jim, Thanks, I've got an English engine parts manual on order for the YM2200/YM2700. It sure will come in handy. I was told there is a complete chasis manual also available, but it's in Japanese

Did you take the cover off where the suction line goes in?

EFC ( Buck ) That's what I'm planning for tomorrow. I changed the tranny fluid once and will run it again tomorrow morning before I change it once more, ALONG WITH the strainer/ filter where the suction line enters. Thanks for the info. So far it's been a couple of days since the first hyd. oil change and all is nice and clear.

Great! You’ll get it. It was a great cigar day by the way 4x62 Amoroso Maduro,....nothing better for me, but it was a little overcast. I think someone ordered winter or something. Dirty buggers. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
