I first saw a water jet in operation on the TV show American Chopper.......... before all the BS and drama. I was checking out water jets then. Wow, they do take up a lot of room. But they are so neatttttt............

And I think I've seen setups available for tractor PTO driven generator units.

I have a Longevity 62i plasma on a 5x10 Lightning CNC table

Mines the dynatorch system and hypertherm 1000'torch. My system does great job on 1/8" thru 1/2" metals, but even with fine cut consumables has a harder time with the real thin metals like 20 ga.

It may be too much torch. Can only be set so low

But most of my work is with 3/16, so all is good.

The hypertherm 1000 is a beast. Kind of a bull in the china shop for cutting thin stuff. We had one at work, but I never used it. My former boss told me it was hard to move it fast enough by hand to keep the cut smooth.

Fully welded ... Its not really that slow ... I tack things on the table then hang them from the pallets forks and lift or lower to a nice comfortable work height.... Thanks for the compliment!
