I had a '78 TA. It had a heck of alot more than 48,000 miles on it. It's been almost 20 years since I got rid of it and I still smile when I think about it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. It was a FUN car

You guys will throw me off the board for this, but that is one nice bird. I would almost make room in my barn for that, put the wifes truck outside.

You should see how fast a 1971 TA 455 motor in a 66 GTO convertible goes. Especially after getting triples, headers, line-lock and a few other mods. I believe the motor was pumping 385 horses. I wish that I still had the car now.

66 goat!........what a car. I once drove a 66 jag, 2 door, XKE I think was the design. That thing was scary to say the least.

A friend had a 66 goat, extremely nice car, and fast. His was stock, but I always loved the style and look of the car. Another friend had a 76 formula, totaled it out bit by bit in a year. The boy and his toy were soon parted, permanently!

OK, back to tractors...........but vintage muscle cars are fun too. Just got the 23, want to put a portable, Magnetic, mounted light on the thing somewhere pointing backward. Dont want to alter the base tractor, so thought that I could put a cigarette lighter socket and plug into it. Anyone know for sure how and where on my bota where I should do this at? The light I saw at TSC is magnetic and stout. I figure that doing this without drilling etc, helps the resale value. I just traded my 2200 for more than I paid, new.

thanks in advance.

oh pictures are worth a thousand words!

Nice looking installation even if you did drill your ROPS. Do they throw enough light to make you a happy camper at night? If so you have accomplished your goal grasshopper. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Danny those lights like that work out really well. They are some what portable in that you can move them to other vehicles or around your tractor if you have to work on it at night. They just don't last long if they hit the ground. Like when a branch knocks it off your ROPS /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Never will happen! That is what I built the barn for, and I dug the hole for the barn with the tractor..........
