I FINALLY got a B21

Thanks to every one who helped in my decision making by replying to my posts. I ended up buying a 2001 B21 with 468 hours. Nice tight tractor. You can still read the letters on the backhoe bucket teeth. It is a night a day difference from the first b20 I looked at. (I found out good used Kubota's are hard to find)
I am real excited about getting a chance to give this tractor a good work out. Apparently I looked pretty silly trying to operate the backhoe. As soon as I get a chance I will post some pic's.

Sounds like a great find, Kurt.

I have over 500 hours on my B2910 TLB and I bought it in 2002. Your B21 is just about broken in. Should give you great service for a long time... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

As long as I am alive you can be confident you are only the world's second worst backhoe operator! I never could get one of those things to go the way I wanted it to.

I wanted to swing right, it would dump the bucket. I wanted to lift the arm, the arm went down, you get the picture. I really admire those who can make a backhoe look like it is all one smooth motion but fear I shall never be in that category.

Congratulations! It will take practice and some funny looking holes but you will get there. Sounds like a very nice unit with decent hours on it.

Have fun and think about how much better you will look operating it than I ever did!

Glad you found what you were looking for. It sounds like you will be much happier than you would have been with the B20. Took me almost a year to find a decent used B21 so I would say you did alright.
