I got my BX24 today. Neil from Messick's in Lancaster County, PA delivered it. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and I'm very happy that I got it from his company. Here are some pics from my first day with it.

6767 = Had to just laugh that the day finally came.

6781 = Playing with a wood pile I need to clear (after my thumb arrives!)

6791 = Finally got rid of 1 of about 20 stumps I have to get rid of. I figured I'd start with the smallest one.

6813 = The exact kind of thing I used to roll my eyes at until I became a Dad. Now I want to share everything with my daughter. :D

Thanks to so many people on this board for all the feedback that I've gotten since September of 05 when I first started looking into getting such a thing.

I've been waiting for this thread tonight :D

You may want to take the SMV off the backhoe when in use, it can obstruct your view.

I did wind up taking it off shortly after that picture, actually. I wanted to have a numbers-matching tractor, but then I said screw it. ;)

LOL now you sound like a Mopar guy. My SMV collects dust on the shelf next to my toolbox.

Actually, I'm an Olds guy. :D At least, back before cars became merely a means of getting back and forth to work and trucks became a tool for hauling tractors, anyway. Here's a pic of my Olds that has 2004 inspection stickers. It has a 409 (Olds 403+.030), and all the other typical stuff.

I've got 2 Chargers that share the garage with my bota and the wifes Honda. Of course my daily driver is forced to sit outside.
