Congrats! Been following your story and questions here for a while...great to see your quest pay off with a great-looking tractor!
Hah! Of course those of us who have DK40s cannot figure out why the rest of you feel compelled to throw money at Kioti for using larger pistons. The tractors are identical except for your $2000+ pistons.
Newbies who fall prey to horsepower hype are spending money they could otherwise save or spend on implements. Think about it. An extra specialized implement is almost always a more efficient way to get work done than simply adding a handful of extra horsepower. Dealers and Kioti are the only ones who really benefit.
Don't want to rain on your parade and certainly hope you enjoy your DK but I couldn't let your comment go unchallenged.

When I bought my DK 45 (2006) I don't think they made the 40 with a cab or 50, I believe the 50 replaced the 55 and no hydro for the 45. Pretty sure I would have gone with the hydro had it been available.
Good luck with your 50!
I went with the DK40 too, partially to make sure I never think I have enough PTO HP to run a 4x4 round bailer and so I'll never get into doing hay myself!
I'm sure with a 7' snowblower or brush hog the extra HP might make things go a bit faster as well. But my budget was at the limit so I went with the HST instead of the extra hp and I've done about 12 hrs of loader work so far and I am very glad I did get the HST, as the extra 5 or 10 HP doesn't make much difference for that.
