Not necessarily.

Fact is, I don't interpret the message at all ... since what you posted lacks the full context.

I copied the full context as it is on the site. It reads what it reads. it's all there in context, and the intent is what it is, and the meaning is what it is.
Again, it means to you want you want it to mean, and it means to others what they want it to mean.

If you believe all the other info put out, there's no reason for you not to trust the entire context of this message put out by the same sources.

Again, your interpretation as you see the context is what it is. So is mine SO, take it for what it's worth from the CDC

All the masks shown, except the cloth mask, vent directly out and do nothing about YOUR droplets.

But the cloth, home made mask, or any other mask, that don't fit properly aren't doing anything for droplets either

This is pretty much a no win debate. I see a close coming.

It started out well, then mask police came and off it went

I hope all that have it recover fully.

I and no one in my immediate family have had it or I should say, none have had the symptoms.

I've read where some people report they smell smoke all the time and there isn't any for anywhere from a week to months before that stops.

I have read/heard from various sources that people with O type blood seem to have less symptoms if any which makes me surprised I haven't actually seen a chart that corelates blood types with severity.

Anyone else see a contradiction when comparing graphs of face mask usage and graphs of Covid cases ?...both have spiked in recent months...

far as I'm concerned, the best way to prevent it from infecting me or my wife is exactly what we are doing, which is, being good hermits and home bodies. We were both just tested (nasal swab) and we both tested negative.

Don't wish it on anyone and if you do get it, I sincerely hope you recover and have no lingering after effects.

far as debating the effectiveness of various types of masks. I don't want to. When we go anywhere (limited to the grocery) and we do remote grocery shopping and the people at the store load our groceries in our van in the back, we wear 4 layer, high thread count cotton masks my wife made and they get washed in hot water after every use, wear latex gloves when pumping gas and have hand sanitizer in each vehicle and use it often. So far we are either lucky or what we do is paying off, because both of us are negative. Far as the vaccine is concerned, soon as we can get it, we will. Enough said on the subject for me.

It's been said there are no coincidences. I hope you don't mean to say that mask wearing causes Covid, or doesn't reduce the spread.

Y'never know what folks will think you MEAN.

btw, 5030 I'm with you on saying at the ranch.

IMO getting tested just for the sake of it is foolish...if you have not been exposed to a known case or are not showing any symptoms etc...why would you even go near a place that (testing site) that has numerous infected people in the proximity?...even while in a vehicle...the same people administer the tests...why take unnecessary chances?

My friend is a Mathematician. He was trying to explain to me why we are seeing such an incredible spike in Covid cases being reported.

He told me it was because they are doing much more testing.

I asked him what that has to do with so many more cases. He made it simple for me to understand.....

He said, "Imagine if suddenly, all Politicians started getting IQ tests. Suddenly, there would be in incredible spike in the number of Morons".

Now I get it...!

I'm not going to elaborate why we got tested as it's no one's business on here anyway but suffice to say it wasn't at a drive up test facility, was in a hospital setting with qualified (and clean as in sanitized personnel).

Only takes maybe 30 seconds and it's totally painless, just makes you want to sneeze. Not a big deal at all.
