btw, IMO most who disdain Steppie seem to be among the anti-mask/media/gov't doubters who might not imagine that folks who agree with Moss are cautious enough to say less. I suggest he speaks for many, as evreyone does.

I am not anti mask, I wear one when I deem appropriate, altho I do not know that their effectiveness for virus fighting has been PROVEN. I do hate the politics of them!

I will admit to having zero faith in the media, and my guess is that 2-3% of our federal government is trustworthy, I think Indiana State government may be in the high 50% trustworthy as well as local government.

I doubt our forefathers would be highly proud of todays government

I think youre spot on. Fauci now appearing to walk back on masks-no surprise. I wear my mask when Im around close groups of people, but I realize its just a token display with minimal effectiveness.
Unlike Indiana, my state government, with a few exceptions, is the same level of garbage as our federal government.
Its really sad knowing the constitution and rule of law is dead. We are all in dangerous waters and I fear the worst is yet to come.

Please keep a close eye on the grandchildren and be sure to get them tested, even if they continue to show no symptoms. Some kids have different reactions than adults and can appear fine while long-term damage is occurring. For most accurate results, test about a week after their possible exposure from the event ended. Testing too soon after exposure is subject to a high rate of false negatives (the tests sometime miss the virus if it's present in very low quantities, as is often the case shortly after exposure.)

The kids may well have escaped infection, especially if they were off doing "kid things" away from those who were infected. However, the longer they were in the same closed house with an infected person, the more likely they were exposed. Here's one of the better explanations/demonstrations I've seen on that:

Just a comment re trustworthy politicians. To me, that's like saying jumbo shrimp.

i read recently that virtually everyone in the US thinks congress is corrupt, I like to use the term abjectly corrupt.

But almost universally people think there reps are honest. Common sense and simply logic will take you to the point where you have to say, 98% of americans think congress/govt is corrupt.

Really the ones to fear are the career bureaucrats, often referred to as the deep state.

I've posted before that my grandson has the virus and his wife tested to not have it, but has now tested to have it. And our son-in-law who is a funeral home manager got every sick during the night; don't know yet whether it's the covid, but he's sure been busy at the funeral home with the people who died from it.

At least our son-in-law was determined to not have the covid but instead a stomach problem that he's also had in the past, expects to be out of the hospital in a day or two.
