Being told by a doctor I likely wouldn稚 survive due to multiple major Covid complications did.

Fortunately, proved the doctor wrong.

And that's why everyone needs to read news from varied, perhaps contrasting, sources before you 'know' something. Approximate US and worldwide numbers should be part of everyone's 'common knowledge' by now.

In approximate numbers - 350,000 of those 1.8 million deaths are in the US. With 4% of the world population.

So basically almost 20% of the worldwide deaths ... but only 4% of the world population then ?
