If the Husqvarna is only for blowing snow... or, if the cab is easy to take off... I say, but it on the Husqvarna. That way, you'll stay warmer when blowing snow. I've never been a huge fan of cabs anyway, but at least in the winter, it could keep you a little bit warmer.

No. I also use it to mow grass in the summer and pick up leaves in the fall.

Put the cab on the JD, sell the Husky, purchase a blower for the JD

I have heard that if you get a lung full of fine snow crystals it can cause serious health problems. Can you install it on the snowblower without really altering it very much. Then it could be reused maybe for the Deere. Even if it looks funny on the Husky it is only a winter machine ( unless it is going to snow all summer too ).

In my first post I said I got a good deal. I saw it on Graig's list for 325.00. I offered him 300.00 and he took it. I went on Sims web-sight and found most of the cabs they make are around 2000.00 and up. I think I got a good deal.

Sell it to me for what you paid, and I will make it fit my red 2615

Well the decision was made for me. I found out that the cab was way to small for the Deere. I am going to put it on the Husky. I will post some pics in a day or so.

Here are a few pics of cab.The first thing I had to do was cut out the lower panels in the front.I also had to remove the boxed area and fill that in. Then I had to extend the front legs to reach the footpads so I could bolt them on.Then it was time for some primer. I won't paint the final color until summer but wanted to protect the metal.

I put on the front glass to see how it looked. Next I had to figure out where the back posts had to go. As you can see they were also too short. I made a frame to reach a bracket on my hitch. Then it was time for primer again. I ran out of gray primer but found a can of red primer.

Looks like it is going to be a good fit on that tractor. Once you get it painted the proper color it should look fantastic. I started by cab build with a cab similar except my windshield was tapered (wider at the top than at the bottom) I think you will be real happy with the decision to put it on the husky.
