Welcome to the Pack!

Great pics, that's good that you already have a carport for it and with the round top you won't have to worry about the snow piling up as much. Holy Chains!

I still love my Kioti every time I get on it and work. My poor ole CK20 was sitting under the carport for the past 5 weeks while I was dead busy at work. Today it hits a high of 33 degrees F with a low of -3 degrees overnight. I hop on the tractor turn the key and she sparks to life ready to move back some huge snow banks. I love my tractor! :D

Finally..........:) Congrats and Welcome to the Pack!

Nice photo album there, good job. Looks like you're all set up. Chains on all four meats, egads! You shouldn't have a problem with traction.

After looking at your photos again I can see your FEL joystick lever is definitely angled back further than mine. It needs to be swiveled counterclock wise about 20* or so. Of course you need to get at that darn jam nut to do it. See my post in RexB's "winter project" thread(should be on last page).

Have fun, be safe with your new toy.

Yup.. those are the V-bar ladder chains, digging through the snow and ice yesterday... they just kept on digging. Sure glad the tractor has the suspension seat... otherwise those chains would bounce me out of the seat!!

I saw your post a few days ago, marked it in case I needed it. Time to go print it out and start wrenching. :)

I bought the tractorport just for the tractor. I told SWMBO that is was to put stuff from the garage into so she could have the garage when the snow came... but it was for the tractor. :) I was glad to see I can get the tractor in without folding the ROPS, buy about 1", but it goes. :D
Yup.. the chains are the V-bar ladders, they came with the tractor, they dig in nicely, they tore up the neighbors lawn a bit clearing up some snow piles. But they preferred that to the snow melting and flowing into their basement in the spring.

I can't see if this applies to your carport, but on my old carport there was a good 6" or so of extra material on the sides where it hits the ground. So I took some 4x4's and put them under each post. It lifted the whole thing 3-1/2" and the extra height made parking the cabbed CK20 much easier.

He sold it to you! :D Just kidding

This made me loff and loff.

Congrats on the purchase, and it sounds like your having fun already. Good Idea to keep that under roof from the start, will likely eliminate certain issues from ever occurring.

Nice chains.
