I just bought a CK25hst !!!!

OK, made a friggin decision finally

It's a new CK25HST with FEL, Kioti 20 series 60" box blade, radiator hose heater, loaded AG tires, delivered from NH(2 hours away) so I don't have to pay Vermont 7% tax. It will be here Saturday the 21st(he does'nt have the AG's in stock).

It was much more than I wanted to spend(I started this mission convinced I was going to go Chinese for $9K).

Thanks to everyone for their advice. Wish me luck, and I hope it's enough power, but the CK30 was $1400 more for just 5 hp, and I couldn't justify it.

What else do I need; drawbar for sure right? and ???

Unless they've changed (?)...the drawbar should be included.

Congratulations on your decision.
The drawbar that comes out the back below the PTO is included. If you want a drawbar that connects to the 3pt, a horizontal draw bar, that's about $20-$25 or so, but you probably don't need that.

What else you need really depends on what you want to do. Maybe a brush cutter, a finish mower, a landscape rake etc.

The one thing that I would definitely recommend is a toothbar for the loader bucket. It will probably be the best extra money you'll spend and should be under $300. Check with www.markhamwelding.com for a good toothbar and good service.

First of all, welcome to TBN.
You mount a toothbar to the loader bucket and it will not only help you to dig into the dirt better, but it will also help you break roots, load a tangled mess of vines, etc. into the bucket and all kinds of little things that make your loader's usefulness a lot more enhanced. Go up to the top of the page, click on search. Choose all forums, type in toothbar, and at the bottom, choose either newer than one year, or all posts and start reading! You'll find a lot more than you're probably going to want to read, at least in one sitting.
It's one of the best additions I made to my tractor.

Have dealer ad hooks to the FEL
Toothbar (Helps pick up stuff, limbs tree's etc and also helps digging)
box blade w/rippers
backhoe
brush hog
Pat's easy disconnect
Extra lynch pins and cotter keys.
A 5/16" chain Grade 70
Grease guns.
A suicide knob for the steering wheel.

Figure out whether you want industrial or ag tires. I'm glad I got the ag's but most here want industrial.

Go ahead and have them bring the filters for the first 50 hr maintainance.

This is what I currently have and have now used all the implements I listed and love them all. I also consider them the "essentials".

BTW, I'm a newbie with only 60 hours on my ck30. Also, had I gotten anything smaller than the ck30, I would NOT be happy.

toothbars are to CUT's as bolt on tracks are to skid steers. It took a while for them to catch on but once you see what they can do you'll wonder why it is not standard equipment. KiotiJohn is right on the money with the usefulness of a toothbar. It changes the the loaders capabilities a ton!
