I just bought an Echo 2511t clone for $99. What was I thinking?

I put Nano on my clone by Farmertec G2511 to compare to my OEM one with Egan pipe and Nano.

Remember Egan pipe on oem good for 28% over stock oem muffler alone.

Not bad for first cuts.

So you call it Farmertec, but he calls it Joncutter… so which is it or are they the same? Got a link for the seller? I don’t really need another chainsaw, but I’ll gladly waste 100 bucks on a less than 6 pounds saw that works good.

They just call the saw Joncutter G2511. It is sold by Farmertec.

Holzforma and Joncutter is names they use on the saws. Joncutter used to be just the Zenoah clones but now also Echo clones.
Holzforma is used on stihl and husky clones.

US dealers order them and then sell them.

They wanted me to be a dealer in the beginning but I turned down the offer. I hate dealing with idiots that dont know saws at all.

I only work on saws for folks I know and take care of local.

They even sent me all the swag many years back. But I declined.

I instead have locals order them from dealers I know and then I set them up for them and take care of the saws if they need work.

I hear that they are going to have a rear handle clone soon. I'm waiting for that. I normally run bigger saws, but a rear handle 2511 would make a great limbing saw for me.

V-modest prob be first again with it. They are in my group.

I'll buy 2 even at the higher price they get for being first out.

Echo 2511T is an amazing saw!
I made the mistake of going to my Echo dealer and holding one. A saw that cuts well with a 5.2 lb powerhead? I had to have one.
Then xyz123 posts a picture of his three 2511s! I didn't even know a person was allowed that much decadence. I already own 7 chainsaws, but having another 2511 would be fun.
He gave me the name of his dealer (who knows what he's doing) Log into Facebook
so I ordered one.
I figured I'll take a chance, it won't take much to have $99 worth of fun.

Love to give him business, but not into a 9 hour round trip for a saw.

He's not selling them for $99 now though. His prices went up to $140

Guess he must be charging $40 to pull them out and go through them now.

Thats where it pays off for me to order straight from Farmertec US warehouse in NJ for myself.

I'll see if they are still 99 there shipped. But you need to know how to check over, set up and tune yourself.
