I just bought an Echo 2511t clone for $99. What was I thinking?

You know, for $99, giving a saw like this a permanent home on your tractor or UTV makes a lot of sense.

I was thinking of one for the frame mounted toolbox on my dump truck.
But I want a rear handle.

you guys have got me curious about this saw. Ordered one from Amazon last night. Replacing the Stihl MS 170 on the tractor now with this saw. Will see how it works out. Don't really need another saw as I have them from 10-24" but my curiosity got the best of me. For $99 I'll bite

BTW: Checked out my local Stihl dealer for a 661C w/36” light bar & chain.
Now up to $1,625.
Before tariffs, I was quoted $1,415 for same saw.

V-Modest is working on a rear handle and it’s supposed to be ready in September.

I think the V Modest is an equal to the Joncutter, but at $99, the Joncutter is a better deal. xyz123 would be a better person to answer.

I bought a V-modest 2511 clone last year or year before for $140 shipped. To try out back then as that was the best clone in them at the time.

I told Farmertec back then after trying out the V-modest they needed to do a version of the 2511 and they released theirs this year. Farmertec Joncutter G2511.

Farmertec crashed in with $99 shipped on theirs. So IMHO no reason to pay $140 for V-modest.
Saws are so darn close to be the same.

One clone I will tell you to stay away from. Is neo-junk also under farmmac they are way way behind in refinement.

I put 1/4" mini micro on my v-modest one for fruit try pruning. So smooth of cuts.

Just buy the Farmertec Joncutter G2511. Why pay $40 more for VM for same dang saw. I have owned a V-modest for year or 2 now.

If you buy from the dealer in my group he goes through them and tunes before shipping. Same one I sent airbis to here in thread.

That dealer we talking about in my group if afm parts or oem echo parts too.

Archer even sells stuff for them in to swap out different chain etc. Putting 1/4" mini on one.
