We have a selection such as Harps (30 minutes past the hour) Corpse (15 minutes past the hour) Crook (not feeling well) but there is one Americanism that has thrown me for a long time, Git on Done, can someone please enlighten me as to what it means, I have heard it, seen it and really am at a loss.
Thanks in advance.

:D That's funny. Take it from an Okie, born and bred, "Git er done" means to me...quit screwing around, lollygagging; get with it and take care of the task that's waiting on you.

That one isn't hard. "Git 'er done" is just redneck slang for "get it done". Go do it, take care of it.
