I know what a gray is now!

I just bought a kubota L2000. Went to get parts and found out it was a gray. The person I bought it from did not tell me it was gray. I don't know what to do with it. Keep it or sell it? If I try to sell it do I need to tell them it's gray? I've read post after post and don't know what to do.

Why would you want to sell it? Weren't you able to get parts for it? There are people on here who can help you there. You still have a good tractor and i would keep it and give it a chance.

I agree. Keep it and give it a try. Now that you know it is gray, you just have to look in different places for the parts. It is not that parts are all that hard to find. You just can't go down to the Kubota dealer for them.

I also agree with the others . I have a "grey" Kubota L2201DT . I have had to get a few parts for it. Took a little time to get the right PTO shaft and bearing assembly for the rear PTO but I knew who to ask and where to ask . Not that costly. I get gaskets,glow plugs , exhaust manifold, etc at the Kubota dealer . I just telll them I have an L245DT. It is almost the exact tractor except for the PTO has 4 speeds . Great tractor. Runs good . Dependable. If I were you , I would keep it and use it like any other tractor. If you take care of it , you won't need parts often. You can always sell it probably for what you paid for it.
