The sidewall on the 27x9.5x15 tire on the old MF 124 baler busted and had to be replaced. I thought about a tube, but the tire was original to the mid-70's and I think a tube would stick out through the crack. That particular tire is expensive at $138, and according to my local tire supply place is becoming increasingly rare. I also learned that square balers frequently have two different sized tires. The right (the one with the flywheel and knotters) side of the MF 124 has a 14" tire, and the other left side has a 15" tire. I thought it odd, but was told it was fairly common.
I also picked up three hay wagon running gears for cheap and the width of them varies widely. One is 5'8" wide, one is 5'3" wide, and one is 5" wide. The gears are in good shape, but need tires and beds.
