And I personally think using a CUT or a utility tractor to push over trees is inherently dangerous and not what the machine is made for. I think it is extremely hard on the machine too. (I know because I've done it, a lot, with my little 45 hp Kubota. It IS dangerous and it IS hard on the tractor and it IS NOT what the tractor was made for. But man it works and I'll keep doing it.)
My point is that Mahindra is going out on a limb to show people the real kinds of things you can do with a tractor. Good for them.

Glad you liked it.If you will look at my video again, you will see that I dug all around the tree before pushing it over.

I don't think wearing a seat belt or hard hat is going to help one bit if a tree falls on you......AchingBack said:What? No seat belt, or hard hat in use! This is not a good demonstration of safe use of a tractor - especially when pushing over trees. The producer of the commercial screwed up in that department.
The entire tree doesn't have to fall on you to hurt you. Just one limb breaking off of the tree and flying into your face is enough to ruing your day. A combination, hard hat/hearing protectors, as is used with chainsaws is sure better protection than a ponytail.tydp said:I don't think wearing a seat belt or hard hat is going to help one bit if a tree falls on you......
