I know I'm not the only one who can put down a wrench right beside me as I work on something then turn around 1 minute later to find it's not there, it's over on the workbench clear across the shop..............and I KNOW I didn't take it there, I never even walked over there today!

Aliens have abducted everything in my garage. Of course, they didn't keep it. They just mixed it all up and dumped it back into a big mess in the middle of the floor. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I know that the aliens have visited my house more than once, but it is the person that borrows a tool and doesn't return it that really gets me angry. When you ask the for it back, they deny that they ever borrowed it. Then there is the neighbor that borrows a tractor tool and never returns it and says to come and get it if you need it. Then when you finally do retrieve your own implement, you find that it is broke and you have to spend time repairing it before you can use it. This is the most aggravating of situations.. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

When you ask the for it back, they deny that they ever borrowed it. 

It works the other way too...
My dad once asked one of his neighbors if he could borrow his post hole digger. The neighbor told him he didn't have a post hole digger. About a year later, the neighbor came over to my dad and demanded he return his post hole digger. My dad reminded him that he told him he didn't have a post hole digger. The neighbor remembered and said, "Oh yeah." as he turned around and walked back to his house.

The aliens I can put up with. It is their sense of humor that bugs me. Look and look for something with no luck then wife finds it in a very conspicous place.

Recent losses. My tractor keys, Picked em off the keyboard out back door for 3 steps and no keys. Still haven't found em.

Roundup spray jug. 1/2 gallon white jug with spray gizmo. Two trips through garage, back porch and two sheds. No go. On more try and the aliens had put in on my saw table. That is the first thing you see as you walk in the door. It was sitting there in solitary spendor, the only white thing in a dark area.

The 4"x6"x6' rect tube to be used for a hydraulic tank. No-where. Found it years later used as a prop for a beam in the basement.

They struck here today....boy them buggers are fast. I was mowing under all the trees today with the RFM. I "thought" I looked back after every trip under the apple trees to make sure all the clips and spacers were there. At one point, one of the little guys ripped off a clip and ran away. No biggie, I have more /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I was expecting them to show up sooner or later. When I got ready to park the mower, I looked back and the NEW clip was gone and so were all the spacers off one rear wheel /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

She was in no mood to hear about my "silly little problem" with an alien stealing clips. She was still cussing about having to buy a new liner for the pool. It split at 3 seams today while emptying it.
