if you air down the tires empty they ride much better, of course then you need to be able to air them back up with a load.
Does Reiser offer progressive springs as an option? That would add cost, and would cause the unladen trailer to ride a few inches higher, but wouldn't change anything about the loaded configuration. And the empty ride would be much smoother. Or if Reiser doesn't offer that option, there is probably a spring designer that could spec you a custom set-up for your trailer.

On the way back with about 3500lbs on the deck, it was MUCH smoother so there were no stops..
Went right by my house, I could have given you another 3000 lbs to haul my baler to ohio.![]()
I was surprised to read the PJ price you got was high... I can get a PJ here for less than what you say you paid for your trailer...I just keep telling myself, "Sure beats the Suretrac and PJ estimates of July."![]()
I measured my PJ today, it measured 83-3/4" between the fenders, and with a couple bolts the fenders come right off, giving several more inches of clearance...I just checked my baler tire width side to side, 7' exact. Reiser hasn't gotten back with me.
Thanks, good to know.I measured my PJ today, it measured 83-3/4" between the fenders, and with a couple bolts the fenders come right off, giving several more inches of clearance...
