How wide is your deck, between fenders in inches? Some 7' are actually a couple inches short, I need a true 7'

I'm pretty sure mine is an inch or two shy as well. Looking back at it in the side mirrors it appears to be about the same width as my Big Tex utility trailer. It has 6'10" between the fenders.

I will lay a tape on it tomorrow to be sure and get back to ya. I'm quite positive if you told your dealer you needed a true 7' between the fenders, Reiser would accommodate the request and the cost difference would be negligible. Add-ons and changes were very reasonable with Reiser.

I sent reiser a message today.

You got a good price on that trailer, I'm looking at some suretrac, 18' at a grand more...

Also trying to find a reiser dealer over here.

If you want pics of welds or anything specific just say the word. I've been over it all and have been impressed. I have a SureTrac 5x10 dump trailer, which I think is better quality than my BigTex utility trailer, and I would have to say that the Reiser fit and finish is as good or better than both.

The dealer I used is "off the beaten track", but if you want his contact info I'm happy to provide it.

They didn't "cheap out" on anything at all. The lumber on the deck is full 20' sections. The LEDs are all the rubber mounted pop-out style.

The fact they use an 8" channel on anything over 20' says "quality" to me. Most companies either box or add a doubler to the same 6" channel as they use on their 18s and 20s to get the strength they need while keeping their cost low by sticking with the 6" they more commonly use. Sticking with 6" and reinforcing it says "cost effective work around" to me.

I wanted the 8" channel because it raises the deck an additional 2" over the 6" frames. This adds a bit of tail clearance, which always drags horribly in mountainous locations such as WV.

That is a good looking trailer. I hope you took the better half out to dinner to celebrate.

I like the Jack stand set back Also.

Even though the tailgate clears the jack, still be careful about driving with the tailgate down. It will probably come in contact with the jack in turns. I found this out the hard way and it cost me a new tailgate.
Been there, done that.

The jack also has the crank off to the side, and a spring loaded retract mechanism. All ya do is crank enough to set the weight on the ball and pull a pin, the jack leg retracts. When unhooking, ya pull the pin and step on the jack foot to push it to the ground and release the pin. It locks into place and you crank to raise it over the ball.

Yes, we had a nice dinner at a local place we both like.

I just checked my baler tire width side to side, 7' exact. Reiser hasn't gotten back with me.

I see your dealer sells on eBay.
I think I'll go for a 10k one, don't think it has the fancy Jack stand.
