You work hard and you like your toys when you are at home. One of your biggest pleasures is the finely crafted deere machines that do just about everything right.
If you love to mow, and it brings you pleasure, you should mow. period! The smell of fresh cut grass and the hum of your machine making the stripes is extremely relaxing. If it keeps your dad out of harms way, even better.
You know and I know that if you are lusting after the 1500 series front mower you will ultimately not stop until you have one in your shed. As I have previously mentioned, these machines are often owned and run by municipalities and you will not find a used one that meets your level of satisfaction. Rarely one comes along. A new one may be your only choice.
Bite the bullet and get the machine that you want. Get a trailer that allows you to move the machine to the desired yard and cut for pleasure.
As far as giving up the loader (2320) you are currently happy with this unit and it will clear your driveway in the winter. The two machines are totally different but complement one another.
As you may remember, I have both a commercial front mower and the 2320. I am in the process of selling my 2320 because I don't use the loader anymore now that my kitchen project is complete. With both machines, there is virtually nothing you cannot do. I am saddened to lose the 2320 because it has been absolutely perfect and reliable. I just need the room for a new toy.
If you need any info on the commercial front mowers give me a holler. I have a 60 inch deck, MCS-600, curtis cab, 60 inch HD snowblower, and 60 inch HD front broom. I increased my hp from 24 to 36 a few years back and the machine is a beast.
