Wife bailes out:mad:

We are expecting snow for the next 24 hours. I have to go to work. She said "She plow the drive for me, NOT".

Life isn't all bad;)

Last night I had to clear a little drift in the drive before I left with my wife. She watched from the car as I quickly cleared it and when I hopped in beside her I heard the dreaded words, "You know you're going to have to train me on how to run this thing."

Darn it, I knew I should have blindfolded her :D

I am going to Tulsa in a couple of weeks. My wife wanted to learn how to drive the tractor in case we have a heavy snow.

After "Working" with it for a little bit she commented "This is easy;) ".

I can't complain about my chores anymore. :(
All you gotta do is complain about the nasty hemerroids that the d**n tractor caused. If she's anything like my wife, she'll make a wide berth around it.

My wife is pretty much a city girl. It took eight months before she would even operate the tractor. Finally, she drove it around the yard and loved it. I let her run the rotary cutter in a pretty rough field. She made it about 100 feet and didn't want any part of that. Now she just wants to drive it around. So I bought a 6' Landpride finish mower a few weeks ago that she can drag around the yard now.

I am working in the middle east quite a bit now. When I took the job, I simply had to teach my wife how to clear the drives of our Vermont snow.

She is quite capable but leary of my large home made plow setup for the quick attach. No problem, I leave the scraper blade and FEL bucket for her.

A year later, she does a fine job on the snow. She has helped neighbors with their snow and trees. I even came home to find what looks like a landing strip for a 747 across the street.

She does not like the brush hog nor the back hoe. No doubt she could use both but I won't encourage what she is not comfortable with. We had the same issue with the big chain saw.

I don't regret teaching her the Kubota at all. :)
