I would have to agree with some of the other posters, your lookin at used for $10,000. I would think you want in the 30 HP neighborhood for your property size, although we do have some HP junkies on this forum ! And as some other fellas mentioned, your gonna need some implements, so you better have a slush fund somewhere !

Hello, my name is Mike and I have an addiction. It has been approximately 12 hours since my last fix and I am beginning to feel the pain. I, much like yourself, moved from a 3/4 acre lot to a 56 acre lot so I could partake in one of the most joyous vices known to man. It all started on a warm, breezy day in April of 2005. I believe it was a Wednesday as I recall. I stumbled upon a website that others with equally addictive natures gather to discuss their vices. From that day forward, it has been nothing but a continuous spiral of buying, selling, upgrades, trades, implements, etc. I now realize that this affliction is not cureable and no level of horsepower, position control settings, loader capacity, nor the width of your bucket can quench this insatiable thurst. I have accepted my disease and embrace the reality that is my life.
