I currently have two commercial Genie 1200 Stealth automatic door openers on my pole barn. My Toyota Highlander SUV has a gadget built into the visor called a HomeLink that acts as a built in garage door remote control.

I originally had my HomeLink set to open door A and it worked without a problem. Then I rearranged where we parked the SUV so I reprogrammed the same button to open door B instead. As it turned out when I now press the HomeLink button both door A & B respond at the same time. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif I have tried everything that I can think of to make the HomeLink forget door A but it hasn't happened. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I'm hoping someone with a bit more experience relating to Genie receivers and transmitters may be able to get me on the right track here.

HOLD buttons 1 and 3 down at the same time. Keep them held down for about 30 seconds. The Homelink light should begin to rapidly flash. That is the signal that you wiped out your old codes.

At least it worked for me.

I tried it several times before it worked properly. I finally went into the garage with only dim lights, it really helped me see that tiny little light flash.

Bob from now on I'll be referring to you as "The Genie" You just solved a problem for me that even the Toyota Dealer couldn't figure out.

Thanks for the help, I owe you a 6-pack. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Don't thank me until it ACTUALLY WORKS. But if it works for you, then I'll take that 6 pack really cold on a really hot summer day.

Bob it's a done deal. I followed your instructions and reprogrammed it before I wrote the last post. I knew there had to be a way to make the HomeLink forget the old codes but before you came along with help I was at a total loss.

A 6 pack really cold on a really hot summer day coming your way!

You the man Bob! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Moss . . . you took all the mystery out of this problem! And I was going to go to the store and buy one of those Genie outfits to wear when my cold beer is delivered! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

By the way, we have near white out conditions here this morning . . . is the "Lake Effect" dumping on S.B.?

I went to bed around 4:00 am, and I was mumbling to myself that the weatherman was wrong again.
Not one lick of snow. I just woke up to a BIG surprise! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
I guess I should have left the rear blade on the tractor for a few more days! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

It's Lake effect, but from Lake Erie instead!

Not much snow. Just a spit. Not even sticking to the ground.
