I know a little bit about these East Texas girls, but mine is more interested in the purse made from the sow's ear, and perhaps some Pittsburg Hot Links made from the sausage...if she could ever get away from her sewing machine. She loves horses, and boy did she take me for a ride!

Looks like you have a winner Eddie!

Thank you!!!! :)

And still no pick of an AR15... Don't you know with Women any good deed has a 12 hour expiration date.. you should have picked your AR up on the way home and swung by the DQ after for both of you to get a hot fudge sunday.. probably could have even gotten lucky that night... Nah you had to get on here and tell us ... Where's your pic man... :laughing:Yeh, you "showed her alright" Just kidding with you... but I'm not kidding about ... you better hurry man!

I must be a lucky man too, because I've never had to ask or get permission to buy a gun.....EVER!

Either I can afford it or I can't.

IF I can, then I go get it!

IF I can't, I wouldn't be buying it anyway! AND I don't need a wife to tell me that....

Thank you!!!! :)

My SWMBO's only possible flaw is that she likes to operate the tractor, but that frees me to cut down trees, make implements, fix broken stuff, and basically spend time in my shop, so it's not really a flaw.

But nonetheless, I think Eddie won this one.

Mine likes to shoot, but not to hunt, and she never brings home any bacon for me. (especially not that feral boar brand.)

I tried to talk my wife into buying me a case of Miller Light for $14.95. Instead, she bought a jar of cold cream for $7.95.

I told her the beer would make her look better at night than the cold cream. And that's how the fight started.

Most of us are doomed when we propose, or find the wedding is planned and we do not recall proposing.

Coming up to 45 years for me, and she still has not learned how to spend. I hope she never does.

My wife is tight on a dollar with lots of things that I would never go cheap on, like boots and winter clothing. Then exorbitant when it comes to things I'd never drop a dime on. And we are planning a house build. She has some very expensive tastes. When she sees the price tag on some of it, she backs off. Some of it she doesn't. Somehow, we compliment each other and things seem to work and flow better together. She was in knots when we were getting ready to drop coin on an old machine with no warranty. But she gets out there next to me and works all day. Can't say she doesn't whine about it. If she gets hungry or thirsty it's break time. But she's always the first one back to work.
I've been married a few times. Never met another woman with her work ethic.

Leads to the question:

If a man speaks alone in the woods is he still wrong?
