I sure am glad I have a huge scrape on my leg!

I cut down trees with my backhoe. I am very careful and read up on it a lot. Only once did I almost pull a tree onto myself. That won't happen again!

But this weekend I was going to move a rootball which had about 5' of trunk still intact. I went to snag it with my hoe and just lift it off the ground a bit to carry it down the hill.

All went smoothly till it suddenly shrrooooomed the trunk into the operator station. Really scraped my calf up!! Sure beats what could've happed. (even though my kids think peg legs are cool!)

So I will not try THAT again. Cut em smaller or bulldoze them is just fine!

I am already mentally and visually handicapped, no need adding to the mess!

Glad youre ok. I had an incident involving a cut off on an angle grinder. My leg is whole once again...minus some muscle tissue. My kids liked the peg leg idea too...but im lucky to have what I have
