Congrats on your new truck... !!! Its always nice to bring home a new toy!!.
I get the itch every once awhile... went and test drove a Ford with the diesel... wasnt impressed with the low end feel, but LOVED the interior and the true crew cab. Went and test drove a Dodge with the diesel, Engine definitely felt like it had more on the bottom end, but wasnt as racy as the Ford on the highway, but wasnt impressed with the fuel mileage penalty, but once again, LOVED the interior and a true crew cab.

My neighbor started 3 weeks ago as a salesman for the local Ford Dealer ... so he pulls in one evening last week and says let me sell you a new truck ... Naw ... I don't need a new truck!!

First mistake ... I drove it, second mistake the rascal went behind my back and talked to the wife ... third mistake I got thinking a new truck would be nice, heck I work hard, heck I deserve some of the finer things in life .... so I thought sure doesn't cost anything to look ... YA RIGHT ... once I got the fever I couldn't break it.

I let the 04' Dodge 4x4 Dually go ... I convinced myself that the upfront cost for the diesel Engine and the fact that diesel is more per gallon I would go gas ... takes alot of driving to pay for that engine...and 2 less tires to replace.

Sure is a dandy ... nice ride. And yes I need to learn how to set my camera date !!! Looks like I was the only one in 2004 to buy a 2012 !!

Congrats...now go out a put a couple buck loads of rocks in the bed to break it in...:laughing:

I too have been having the urge to buy a new one, and a very good possibility a new Ford would be my choice.....
Havent been a Ford guy since 1985, but Government Motors changed that.

Thanks eferyone ... I'm putting SS trim around the fender wells, ordered step bars. Updated the Sync system and bought a Garmin for it. Technology is amazing. I like the Sync and the Sirius radio ... free for 6 months. They draw you in so you consider ordering the Sirius when it expires!!
