none now
After lurking here for a few months and reading, I went out and drove a few orange and blue.
I think I have decided on a b7610 with a LA352 loader I'm not sure if I can swing the hoe right now but sure would like one.
I have prices from 2 dealers and seem high
1 wants to sell me the woods BH70x-1 and the other the bota 4672A
Dealer 1 B7610HSD with 352FL loader 14300.00
Woods bh70x-1 Hoe 7000.00

DEALER 2 b7610HSD WITH 352FL LOADER 14500.00
b4672 Hoe 6600.00

Are these in line or can I do better?
What hoe is better?

If I'd have to choose I'd go with the BH70-X for sure. This is simply not the same category (Kubota B4672 is a 6' and Woods BH70-X is a 7') . The Woods is bigger and stronger and it's a 4 points mounted backhoe attached to a subframe (the B4672 is a 3 points mounted on the 3pt hitch). The BH70-X is closer to a Kubota BH75 than a B4672.

For the deal I cannot be of any help. Up here, prices are not on the same scale as yours.

The dealer told me it was a 4 point mount, maybe not as good as the woods? One thing I don't care for the kubota hoe is chain driven from side to side not sure if the woods is or not.

Looked at a Massey last night they were closed, looked like a nice unit.Perhaps I should keep shopping, but I would like to pull the trigger this week.

There are other hoes to consider for about 1/2 the price. you will need the sub frame but if you just need a hoe for occasional use you can probably spend your money better and maybe go up to a 30 horse tractor. I am sure Bradco makes the top aftermarket Hoe for around 4 grand. just a thought

I'm a bit surprised here. I was sure that a B4672A backhoe was 3pt hitch mounted.

It really looks 3pt hitch mounted to me... but I could be wrong.

Hey roadkill, I bought a 7610 with the 352 loader 2 years ago and love it...it does everything i need it to do and a lot more, I just had a new Woods BH 70x installed and all i can say is WOW, its sweet. I would definetley go with the Woods over the Kubota backhoe the installation is pretty quick and its got the subframe mount so there are no worries about damaging your tractor. The Woods also has 2 pistons to move it left and right unlike the chain on the Kubota.

Stef, I think you're right. I was looking into a used B7610 with the 4672 BH awhile back and the owner said it was 3pt. mounted but with some kind of support bracket that added a 4th point. Dunno if I misunderstood, but it sounded like a whole lot less than a full support frame like the Woods has.

In Nov 06 I was quoted US$14K for a B7610 with 352 FEL, loaded tires, block heater, hooks welded onto the bucket, two kubota hats, 2 keys, full tank of fuel and delivery. I bought the B7800 for $2K more but I think I would have been OK with the B7610.

I'd buy the Woods BH. A sub-frame mount is more secure then a 3 point
