Re: I think I\'ve decided...

I'm torn between the CK20 and the LB1914. Is it worth waiting a few months and spending the extra $$$ for the CK20? HST would be very nice along with the live PTO for mowing...

Would you think twice about buying something its first year out?

decisions, decisions...

Re: I think I\'ve decided...

Your 2310 price is probably some where in the ball park for a guess, i think when i got my 2810, the 2310 was around 14000.00 give or take a little with the loader, from what i have seen on here, prices vary by what area of the country, and things seem to always be more expensive here, in the northeast, but it also cost alot to live here, also depends on what brand/quality and size of brush mower your going with. ive seen brush mower from around $600.00 up over 1,000.00 in the 60" range. Kioti makes a good machince too, i like my mahindra and cant say anything bad about it. The ck20 is alot smaller than the 2310, not shure on loader lifting comparison but the mahindra will lift 1100 lbs to full height, anyway good luck with your purchase.

Re: I think I\'ve decided...

Mathey, It all depends on what you want to do with it. If you have to have a mmm you have to buy a CK20. The 1914 is a little heavier. The CK20 has a little lower center of gravity. The 1914 is definately a proven unit but, KIOTI has had the CK20 (in prototype form) for quite a while. I don't think it will have any problems. Like you said it will be more expensive and you will have to wait. Clear as mud....buy either the 1914 or the CK20......

Since prices are flyin\' around.

At $14000 you are in the range of the price of a 3054 with a loader and the 2 stage clutch.
If you don't want/need 2 stage clutch you can get a 2554 and loader for about the same payment(special finance rates on 2554) as a LB1914 w/loader.

<font color=black> I would certainly agree with that statement. I have found HST great for loader work. Tell us what you'll be using the tractor for? <font color=black>

Re: I think I\'ve decided...

rotary mowing of future 4 acre horse pasture, post hole digging for horse pasture (one time deal), rotary mowing of 7 acre Christmas tree fields (need narrow width of LB1914/CK20, general loader work (mulching, dirt moving), occasional rotary mowing of remaining acreage, occasional snow removal of 700' drive (not much snow here)...plus a bunch of things i probably haven't thought of yet!
