"Sound about right ? ( please don't burst my bubble)"

You got the deal you liked...don't worry about it after that.
Always got those Monday Morning Quarterbacks saying "Well, if I knew you were gonna buy [enter whatever you're buying here], I coulda got you a better deal..."

Well, I never listen to 'em.

You made your deal...just enjoy your tractor and don't worry about others approval or if you could have saved a few bucks.

Ditto what Roy said.

Look at your smiles in your post. "SOLD".

Enjoy!

Re: I think I\'ve got a deal I can live with !! (B2910

Hi,

I originally ordered a 60" bucket for my B2910. At the last minute I chaged it to a 54". Good move on my part. The 54" is stronger [I think] and still wider than the rear tires.

If you have a lot of light stuff to move, maybe the 60" is better. But otherwise, I would stick with the 54".

The b2910 is a real work horse. I bet you will love it. Have to say I love mine... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

John, in my area (NH) that would be the price of just the tractor/loader so I would say you did good! Enjoy

Cerberus,

You seem to like the price and deal you got...you sound happy...then you did good! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'll just counter Henro's post. I ordered mine with the 54" bucket and they accidentally installed and delivered it with the 60" bucket. (I think there is about a $100 difference in price.)

Anyway, I'm really glad I got the 60". I like having the bucket a couple of inches wider than the tires. I think it makes it a bit easier when back-grading with the bucket (more overlap if/when you make a slight turn) and when removing snow (more "wiggle room" in the cleared area).

As far as strength goes, I don't think there's a big difference.

I also like the wider bucket when I use it as a wheel barrow...the extra width comes in handy when putting long brush and branches in the bucket.

That said...both Henro and I are thrilled with our tractors so I don't think you could go wrong either way.

Good Luck.

Rick,

You mean you only have one loader bucket for that B2910?

Re: I think I\'ve got a deal I can live with !! (B2910

Henro,

What are you doing on TBN? You've got TWO tractors and you're on the computer? If you're tired of the BX already, I'll take it off your hands. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If I ever got the "quick-attach" route, I just might start collecting buckets. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Maybe when I get my L3830! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Now...get out and drive at least one tractor today! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Re: I think I\'ve got a deal I can live with !! (B2910

Cerberus,

I paid 15,800.00 not including tax for my B2910HST with 402 Loader and 54" bucket. I also have filled tires in that price. Do you know what he is charging for the tractor and loader? Is it all a package deal?

Tractor teen.
I didn't get him to break it down individually as it was my first visit to the shop . I'll be going back Monday to get into the specifics with him .
One thing I'd like to say right now is thanks to every one of you that's put up with my tractor quest !!!
I started down this road looking at grey market tractors .
But thanks to some very timely help,i think I am very near to purchasing a machine, and implements I'll be happy with for a long time to come . When I finally get off the fence , I know you fine folks will be there to answer my next set of dumb questions . Like they say.... No good turn goes unpunished /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
