I tipped my Kubota mx5100 today! :( I was moving dirt on level ground, but lifted a load that was too heavy, too high, and over I went. :(

First off, will my Kubota insurance cover any costs in having someone tip the tractor back? I was going to call my dealer on Monday to see if they offer that service. I'm pretty sure there is not other damage. I'll just have to check all the fluids and make sure there is no oil in the cylinders above the pistons.

How does one upright a tractor anyways? Would you just attach a chain to a secure location on the tractor and pull it back upright?

Thanks for any help!

We sure hope you are ok, and secondly your tractor is OK, You already know not to crank the engine without proper check out. Check battery for cracking/spillage, Best to take it out, and look under it for seepage. Its a hard lesson, and I am sorry you had to learn it. Proper ballast, never lift the loader when it has a load unless you are stopped like loading a dump truck or something, always always carry a load as low as possible. But you already know these things. I only post them for the sake of others. I would let the wrecker driver decide where to attach, Most of them have a lot of experience and a lot of common sense about such things. I believe the Kubota insurance will pay off, but there is still the deductable for you. Again I sure hope you are all ok, as any damage to the machine can be fixed pretty easily.

I'd call a local towing company and have them come out and right it. Your average tow truck can right the tractor plus the wrecker operator will know where to hook the cablem and what to do.

Should be less than 100 bucks for the job.

The do go over easily and quickly. I've had my 105 tipsy before. Gives one a queasy feeling in the gut......

I stood my 26 Hp Kubota on end once, I was going up a small hill with a heavy load of dirt in the rear bucket ( trip load 30 ) and it stood straight up. As it slowly was happening I pulled the emergency pull knob as I rolled out the rear seat. In my case I just pushed in the clutch slowly until the front wheels were back on the ground, got back on and from then on I was more aware of how easy it is to roll a tractor.

I'm fine. Not a scratch. Just feel stupid. I knew all the rules, but it just went over. A little surprised it went over so easy. I did have no ballast in the back. I usually have my 1,000# bush hog mover in back, but not this time.

Anyone know what the typical deductable is for the Kubota insurance?

Thanks.

Did it go over frontwards or to the side?
Glad to hear you are ok.
